The Emirates Stadium misfit scored the winner for the Elephants against Togo today.

Arsenal supporters’ bete noire, Gervinho, scored a late winner today as Ivory Coast edged Togo 2-1.

The Elephants opened the scoring when the Gunners forward beat two defenders from the right flank and managed to lay the ball of to Yaya Toure, who struck through a forest to put his side 1-0 ahead in Rustenburg.

In first-half injury time however, Togo’s Jonathan Ayite bundled home a free-kick past the sprawling Copa to see the two teams go in level at the break. And then — in the 88th minute — this happened:
