As if it wasn't going to be tough enough ... Gibraltar caught out for Germany's opening goal

Müller and Götze among the goals as Germany win 4-0 in Nuremberg.

AS EXPECTED, Germany beat Gibraltar this evening — although few would have predicted that the Group D minnows would limit the world champions to just four goals.

Two goals from Thomas Müller, one from Mario Götze and an own goal gave the Germans a 4-0 win in Nuremberg.

Gibraltar were guilty of some pretty questionable defending in their 7-0 defeat to Ireland last month and Müller’s first goal was one of the more straightforward ones he has scored.
