Sky rider somehow finished his Tour de France stage after this awful crash

Thomas hit a telegraph pole after being hit by another rider.

SKY’S GERAINT THOMAS escaped serious injury after a nasty looking collision during today’s 16th stage of the Tour de France.

Thomas found himself careering towards a deep ditch after being hit by a rider who had take a corner too narrow, and because of the speed he was travelling, had no time to brake.

The Welshman rattled into telegraph pole, before falling into the ditch, while the rider who he collided with managed to stay on his feet.

Although the collision looked horrific, Thomas was able to get back onto his bike and somehow complete the race.
