WALES WILL BE without George North for their opening World Cup warm-up match with Ireland this weekend as he continues to recover from concussion.
North has not featured in any competitive action since suffering a head injury in later March for Northampton, his third knock of that nature in the season.

Having rested for the remainder of the Premiership campaign, North appeared in line to make his return for Wales at the Millennium Stadium, but he is no longer expected to be risked.
“George has been doing most of the stuff with the rest of the guys,” skills coach Neil Jenkins said. ”He is still picking up on a few things and that’s to do with the medical staff.
“But he is going pretty well at this moment in time and has done a lot of skills and a fair bit of rugby stuff as well that we have done so far.
“He is looking in pretty good shape so hopefully things will keep progressing and he will take some part in these games prior to the World Cup.
“I wouldn’t have thought he would be involved this weekend but I am sure three weeks [on August 29] down the road he could be involved in the Dublin game.
“We will wait and see what happens over the coming weeks.”
