The best own goal ever? Inter's Kondogbia hits an outrageous 45-yard lob against Chelsea

This actually happened.

IF YOU THINK you’ve seen it all when it comes to own goals, you definitely haven’t yet.

Inter Milan midfielder Geoffery Kondogbia today scored what has since been described as the best own goal in history during his side’s International Champions Cup clash with Chelsea.

The France international somehow managed to lob goalkeeper Daniele Padelli from 45 yards out with an over-hit back pass in the second half of their pre-season fixture in Singapore.

The game finished 2-1, with the Italian side coming out on top despite that blip.

And here’s the own goal, in all of its glory.
