VIDEO: Gary Neville laughs when Carragher suggests Liverpool can win the league

“Is this your worst fear,” asks Ed Chamberlain. Quite possibly.

WITH ARSENAL AND Chelsea only drawing 0-0 at the Emirates tonight, it means Liverpool will spend Christmas Day top of the Premier League.

Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher were on their usual Monday night slot on Sky Sports with presenter Ed Chamberlain quizzing the pair on the Merseysiders’ title hopes.

And while former Liverpool stalwart Carra suggested that they can possibly end their 24-year wait for a league title, his colleague, whose old club Manchester United are down in eighth, couldn’t help having a bit of a chuckle.

Later on in the programme, Neville picked Brendan Rodgers as his Manager of the Season so far when Carragher told him: “Whatever you say, Liverpool supporters will never like you.”

Neville replied by pointing out that Carragher is in fact a Toffees fan.
