CRYSTAL PALACE’S IRISH midfielder Owen Garvan seems to have landed himself in hot water after making some controversial comments on Twitter today.
The midfielder appeared to criticise manager Ian Holloway on the social networking site, tweeting: “I’ll be here longer then he will… trust me.”
Garvan sent the tweet minutes after he failed to make Crystal Palace’s 25-man Premier League squad.
The player featured in Palace’s first two games of the season, but then didn’t even make the bench for their 3-1 win over Sunderland.
