Galway United fans plan to play at all 20 League of Ireland grounds in 24 hours tomorrow

The 1,200km round trip will begin and end at Eamonn Deacy Park.

A BAND OF Galway United supporters will embark on a country-wide journey tomorrow in order to raise much-needed funds for the club.

Organisers of the LOI Dash aim to play 20 short games at all 20 League of Ireland grounds in the space of 24 hours — beginning at Eamonn Deacy Park at 10.30am on Saturday morning.

After visiting each of the 19 other clubs, they will land back at the home of the Tribemen early on Sunday.

It’s a novel idea to help cash-strapped Galway, who were recently relegated to the SSE Airtricity League First Division.
