GALWAY UNITED TEENAGER Ryan Manning looks set to seal his move to Premier League side QPR, with the League of Irelamd club confirming that the move is “pending”.

News of the club’s interest in the Ireland under-19 player — who has also been linked with Tottenham — initially emerged last month, with talks now appearing to be set for a conclusion.

With the British Transfer Window open again, The Irish Examiner report that a move is set to be finalised later this week, while manager Tommy Dunne told Galway’s official website.

“Negotiations are ongoing and we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. There’s one or two clubs involved and it’s likely that Ryan won’t be with us for next season.”

The player also appeared to confirm the news on Twitter, when he retweeted fellow Irish player Greg Cunningham congratulating him on the move.
