THE GAA WILL tonight pay tribute to the late Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe and former Dublin manager Kevin Heffernan, who both passed away recently.
Donohue was a big fan of the sport and was heavily involved with his local GAA Club, and the organisation will accordingly pay tribute to him and Heffernan with a moment’s silence before today’s Dublin-Cork Allianz Football League game at Croke Park.
A specially commissioned video will also be shown on Croke Park’s big screen, to celebrate 100 years of the GAA’s ownership of the stadium, with fireworks and the unfurling of a celebratory banner set to feature.
In addition to the Cork-Dublin game at 7pm, the encounter between Kildare and Donegal will throw-in at 5pm.

The entertainment will be hosted by Daithí Ó Sé, and Republic of Loose will play at half-time of the second game.
