If your favourite GAA county was an ice cream, what would it be?

Pass the Icebergers there, we’ve important business to attend to.

ALL THE SUN this week went to our heads a little bit and, during one particularly giddy break in TheScore.ie HQ, we found ourselves asking: if GAA counties were ice creams, what would they be?

We got stuck after seven or eight so there should be plenty of scope if any of you want to chip in and help out.

Here’s what we’ve got so far:

Kerry — 99

The traditionalists’ favourite.

Carlow — Loop the Loop

It’s the colours, innit?

[Unilever]

Choc Ice — Meath

Melts away quickly in the summer sun.

Kildare — Big Bite (the ice cream formerly known as the Golly Bar)

All white? Alright.

Mayo — Screwball

Promises a lot but invariably disappoints when you get to the end.

[Luuux]

Dublin — Brunch

Adored by many, despised by the rest.

[Unilever]

Cork — Cornetto

An ice cream which thinks it’s better than the rest and isn’t afraid to let you know.

Donegal — Iceberger

Doesn’t look great but gets the job done.
