WITH NEWS THAT both Clare and Dublin have opted to withdraw from the All-Ireland Senior Camogie championship instead of facing the prospect of a coin toss, the GAA world has reacted with some very strong sentiments.
Here are our favourites:
And Shane Lowry…
i think the rest of the 7 teams should withdraw too to show their behind the dublin and clare teams.
Did Brendan Bugler really ask the Camogie Boards to show some balls!!
Show some vag will ye girls Jesus…..it just quite work haha
Doesnt***
Will ye install an edit function already it’s 2015 and we need this! Typo hell up in here like!
All prat of the gun Kev!
absolute ridiculous this is not just an insult to camogie players but women who play gaa in general this just shows how much the gaa care about womens games
Its not the GAA! It’s their own Ladies Football organisation!
It’s neither the GAA or the LGFA – it’s the Camogie Association.
I know stupid comment
The other counties involved now have to withdraw. Let common sense prevail.
If it was a Cork, Wexford or KK team involved there would be major repercussions. Clare & Dub need to be supported here.
If only Bugler and a few others payed attention to his own advice in standing up to Davy rather than going on radio to say that everything is rosy in the Clare setup!!!
Anything to be said for a good old fashioned peno shootout
How is that old fashioned, never been used in gaelic games, decent idea all the same
It took no brains to come up with that one, the game of Camogie had come along way over the last decade with all the hard work that was being done at club and county level culminating with some real classic games played out at all inter County levels and the fact that a lot of these games were available to view on the TV it catapulted the the status of Camogie to another level. It would be an absolute disgrace and a total lack of respect to choose one County over another with the toss of a coin after all the hard work and commitment that these player’s and their management have put in to making the game the great spectacle that it is. Time to sack the board me thinks..
