THE FINAL GOLF major of 2013, the PGA Championship, is just nine days away.
So yesterday, before he got caught up in the excitement of his 34th birthday today, Graeme McDowell went chopping his way around New York’s Oak Hill course and found his jaw dropping at the rough surrounding the 12th green.
“Played 9 holes at Oak Hill prepping for next weeks PGA Championship. The rough is brutal! Check out the length of this grass, just a foot off 12th green!”
Predictably enough, most of the helpful replies on Facebook advised him to keep it on the fairways.
Maybe someone will get the lawnmower out to deliver his birthday wish.
G-Mac is not impressed by the foot-long grass at Oak Hill
