Cabaye and Pardew reunited: Crystal Palace have signed midfielder Yohan Cabaye on a three-year contract from Paris Saint Germain. The French international moves to Selhurst Park for £13 million after working previously with Alan Pardew at Newcastle.

Monk in charge: Not exactly transfer news per say but Garry Monk has signed a new contract as Swansea City manager. He will remain in charge at the Liberty Stadium for at least another three seasons.

Blues close on Begovic: Chelsea are in the final stages of completing a deal for Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic. Jose Mourinho wants to bring the Bosnian shot stopper to Stamford Bridge as back-up following the departure of Petr Cech.

Brentford bring in reinforcements: Brentford have announced the capture of midfielder Josh McEachran for an undisclosed fee from Chelsea. The 22-year-old midfielder has had loan spells at Swansea, Middlesbrough, Watford and Wigan Athletic.

Gyan pens lucrative deal: Former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan will earn in excess of £225,000 a week after signing  a two-year deal with Chinese club Shanghai SIPG.

Luna landing in Spain: Aston Villa defender Antonio Luna has left the club to join Eibar. He made just 17 appearances for Villa in two years after joining from Sevilla.

Newcastle given green light: Steve McClaren is set to make his first major signing as Newcastle boss with PSV giving the Magpies permission to talk to Georgino Wijnaldum. Reports say both parties have agreed a fee of £14.5 million for the midfielder.

Inter hunt for Salah: Chelsea forward Mohamed Salah’s future remains uncertain with Inter Milan ready to launch a bid should the Premier League champions agree to sell. He spent the second-half of last season with Fiorentina but doesn’t want to return to Italy, although the Serie A club believe they have first refusal on his signature.

Another Red Devil off to Turkey? Manchester United could be about to sell another player to Turkey with Rafael closing in on a move to Galatasaray. Matteo Darmian’s impending arrival at Old Trafford has paved the way for the Brazilian to leave.

Juve in for Ozil: Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil is being targeted by Juventus should they lose the services of Paul Pogba or Arturo Vidal. The Italian club value the midfielder at €40 million and reports say they’re prepared to meet that asking price.

Polite enquiry from Sevilla: Manchester United have received a formal approach from Sevilla regarding the availability of striker Javier Hernandez. The Mexican spent last season on loan at Real Madrid and would cost the La Liga club £8 million.
