Showbiz, Baby!
The perfectly-coiffed Jackie Tyrell popped into the TV3 studios last night and confirmed he’s staying on with the Kilkenny hurlers for next season. Didn’t he look lovely?
You got to admire him. At 36 and not short of a few bob, he puts himself through the ringer to come back and play another season of top flight football. He has nothing to prove, he has scored goals and dominated wherever he has played and could have sat back and put his feet up. Top player and character.
