Frank Mir left Todd Duffee in a heap last night with this faceplant KO

The former UFC heavyweight champion is not done yet.

HIS DAYS AS a top contender in the UFC’s heavyweight division may be over, but Frank Mir showed last night that there’s still life in the old dog.

Mir took just 1:13 to defeat Todd Duffee in the main event at UFC Fight Night 71 — the organisation’s third event in five days — which took place in San Diego.

Duffee appeared to have Mir on the back-foot until the 36-year-old former champion countered with a big left that sent his opponent crashing to the canvas.

Mir has now won his last two bouts via first-round KO, having defeated Antonio ‘Bigfoot, Silva back in February.

Don’t write him off just yet.

Schumi didn’t replace Massa in ’09, Luca Badoer drove 3 races before Fisichella took over for the rest of the season.

He considered replacing Massa, but didn’t.
And Eddie Jordan would have given him the drive anyway – Mercedes were offering him money. And EJ would never turn down money. I’m sure he’s been paid to tell this story yet again. He drags it out every time Schumacher is in the news.
