Thomas Rostollan of France cruised to a comfortable victory in stage five of the An Post Rás today.
The AVC rider, who had led a five man breakaway earlier in the stage, arrived in Buncrana nine seconds ahead of the Czech Republic’s Martin Hunal and Switzerland’s Jonathan Fumeaux.
The result moves Rostollan up to second in the general classification, just three seconds behind his countryman Nicolas Baldo.
An Post’s Gediminas Bagdonas earns the Green Jersey while Adam Armstrong takes the First County Rider Jersey.

Today’s stage saw the riders tackle a 149 km course between Bundoran and Buncrana.
