CARL FRAMPTON WILL have a world title shot within his grasp when he returns to the ring on 4 April.
“The Jackal” takes on Hugo Cazares in a final eliminator for the WBC World Super Bantamweight title in Belfast’s Odyssey Arena.

A former two-weight champion, Cazares is currently the number one contender for the WBC belt with Frampton primed to strike at number two.
A win would set up a showdown against champion Leo Santa Cruz, provided he can maintain his unbeaten record in an all-Mexican title defence against Cristian Mijares on 8 March.
Frampton stretched his professional record to 17-0 when he stopped Jeremy Parodi in front of a raucous Belfast crowd last October.
But the 26-year-old announced soon after that he would relinquish his European and Commonwealth titles to pursue a world title shot.
Now he faces a tough customer in Cazares, a former super-flyweight and light-flyweight champion, though he will do so with a packed Odyssey Arena fully behind him again.
Cazares, 35, has won 40 of his 49 fights including his last four since making the step up in weight.
Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster from 10am Friday, 31 January.
