IBF SUPER-BANTAMWEIGHT champion Carl Frampton is just four weeks out from his first world title defence.
“The Jackal” returns to the ring against Chris Avalos in Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on 28 February.
Following news that the fight will be shown live by ITV on terrestrial television, Frampton gave the cameras a glimpse at his preparations for Avalos.
“You’re sparring 10, 12 rounds at this stage,” he said. “You pick up a few little niggles but you just have to push through it and persevere.”
“I’m telling you, this kid is going to be a superstar,” manager and mentor Barry McGuigan added.
“The general public, the wider masses of people, when they get to see him they’re going to fall in love with him.”
