Robbie Fowler forced to apologise for calling players 'a couple of girls'

AFTER DESCRIBING FERNANDO TORRES and Jan Vertonghen as “a couple of girls” because of their on-field behaviour yesterday, former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler was forced into an on-air apology.

Speaking on BBC’s Final Score, Fowler apologised for his remarks and stated that he would even be watching Liverpool ladies today as they attempted to win the league.
