SEBASTIAN VETTEL GOT the better of team-mate Mark Webber as Red Bull dominated second practice at the Korean Grand Prix today.
Reigning back-to-back world champion Vettel continued his good form with the fastest time at the Korea International Circuit.
Germany’s Vettel set a time of one minute 38.832 seconds to be just 0.032 seconds quicker than Webber. Vettel has been in ominous form heading into the backend of the season having clinched back-to-back victories in Singapore and Japan.
The 25-year-old and his Australian team-mate battled for top spot throughout the session but Vettel came out on top. Ferrari driver and championship leader Fernando Alonso, who is ahead of Vettel by just four points, was third quickest.

McLaren’s Jenson Button was fourth fastest, ahead of Mercedes’ Michael Schumacher and Brazilian Ferrari driver Felipe Massa. Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) was seventh quickest, ahead of McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton, who topped the timesheets in first practice. Nico Hulkenberg (Force India) and Kimi Raikkonen (Lotus) rounded out the top 10 with final practice and qualifying to take place on Saturday.
