Formula One chiefs to help in IndyCar crash probe
The series made the announcement last night, saying “the safety of our drivers, their crews, IndyCar staff, racetrack staff and spectators is always our paramount concern.”
INDY CAR WILL get help with its investigation of the crash that killed two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Dan Wheldon.
IndyCar says Formula One’s governing body (FIA) and the Automobile Competition Committee of the United States, an umbrella organization of auto racing sanctioning bodies in the United States, will assist in a full investigation of the crash.

Wheldon was killed in a fiery 15-car crash during Sunday’s season-ending race at Las Vegas. He was 33.
IndyCar says it hopes to have preliminary findings within several weeks.
