DJ CAREY, THE former Kilkenny hurler, has been hospitalised this afternoon.
Gardaí confirmed that Carey became unwell in a public office and was rushed to St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
He is now in a stable condition.
A source close to the Kilkenny backroom team told TheScore.ie that he is expected to remain in hospital overnight for observation but that, crucially, tests on the 41-year-old gave no indication that he had suffered a heart attack.
