ENGLAND FULL-BACK BEN FODEN has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage during a night out in central London.
Britain’s Press Association says the 25-year-old Foden is alleged to have been involved in an altercation early Monday while he was celebrating club side Northampton’s win over London Wasps in an English league match on Sunday.
The Metropolitan Police would only say a 25-year-old and a 23-year-old man, who was arrested for theft, have been “bailed pending further inquiries to a date in early April.”
Foden is his country’s regular full-back and played all five matches in the recent Six Nations competition, which England won for the first time in eight years.
