FRANK WARD first went to rehab at the age of 17 – back then he couldn’t leave the house without a drink. By his early thirties he had been prescribed a number of antipsychotic and antidepressant medications.
This was all until he discovered exercise, something he calls “the perfect remedy for any illness you have. It quietens my mind and my body.”
Nowadays he splits time between his ‘two homes’ – the gym and his flat on Pearse Street and says, “I’ve never in my life been as fit as I am now”.
FLYEfit will soon unveil their brand new flagship gym at The Vaults, CHQ. Located in the heart of the IFSC, it includes free weights, racks, Olympic lifting and much more in a unique setting from just €29 per month.
