Mayweather: knows how to order a birthday cake, that's for sure.

No, Floyd Mayweather didn't lose $10m on the Super Bowl last night (or so he says)

“The only thing I would bet $10 million on is MYSELF.” Yep, that’s Mayweather alright.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER HAS denied that he lost $10 million gambling on last night’s Super Bowl blowout.

The boxing superstar, who has a history of making audacious bets, was reported to have staked the colossal sum on the Denver Broncos to beat the Seattle Seahawks.

Seattle won 43-8 in a rout that matched the third-biggest winning margin in the game’s 48-year history.

“For the record, I did NOT bet $10 million on The Broncos,” Mayweather said last night. “As a matter of fact, I didn’t bet at all.

“I can’t control what rumors that are put out there. Good or bad publicity keeps me relevant.

“The only thing I would bet $10 million on is MYSELF. From the looks of my record, I’m a guaranteed WIN!!!”

In the message posted to Instagram, he said: “Somebody lied to you all. If I was going to bet, I would have bet on the Seattle Seahawks.

“I’m the best defensive fighter, it’s only right to go with the best defensive team.”

So there you go. Although, if we’d just come out on the wrong side of an epic trouncing and lost $10 million to boot, we’d probably say the same thing…
