FERNANDO TORRES HAD what certainly could be described as an eventful afternoon during Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham at White Hart Lane today.

The striker was roundly praised for his early second-half performance, before receiving a second yellow card for an innocuous challenge on Jan Vertonghen.

Ironically, the striker probably did deserve to go for the earlier incident pictured below with Vertonghen, but the referee failed to produce even a booking following the confrontation between the two.
