Fergie tells fans to sit down and behave themselves

Alex Ferguson has told Manchester United fans they’ll need to be better behaved on the road as the club’s sees its ticket allocation cut again.

ALEX FERGUSON SAYS that Manchester United’s fans are going to have to mind their manners on the road, before it affects his team’s form.

United’s fans persistently stand during matches and obstruct walkways, prompting 12 Premier League club to deny the champions their full allocation of away tickets last season.

Ferguson has now entered the fray, insisting that the actions of misbehaving fans can have a negative impact on what goes on below.

“Your support is a vital part of our success. The players notice when your numbers are cut,” he wrote in a letter to the 1,960 United fans who got a ticket for the clash with Liverpool at Anfield on October 15th. The away side’s original allocation was 3,000.
