GAMEWEEK 29 IS one of those occasions where you’re inevitably going to need some luck to do well.
Sides such as Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are not in action, meaning a considerable portion of some teams’ players will be unavailable.
And to make matters worse, two of the in-form sides at the moment are playing each other, so perhaps fill your team with Liverpool or Tottenham players, but not both.

Two players to pick this week
Ashley Williams (Swansea): The centre-back has been a consistently impressive part of Swansea’s defence and is one of the main reasons why they find themselves so high up in the table in this relatively late stage of the season. He earned another clean sheet last week and could conceivably do so again as his side take on West Brom on Saturday.
Christian Benteke (Aston Villa): In contrast with his side’s dismal form, the Belgian has been one of the few bright spots in Villa’s season, producing a number of eye-catching performances. It would therefore be no surprise if he features prominently in the Villains’ must-win game against Reading this weekend.
Two players to avoid this week
José Fonte (Southampton): Southampton produced a disappointing display against QPR after some encouraging performances previously, therefore there’s no great optimism about this weekend’s game with Norwich. Their players are consequently best avoided.
William Gallas (Tottenham): AVB has consistently shuffled Tottenham’s defence over the season. Accordingly, picking one of their defenders represents a significant risk. Despite playing in the Europa League midweek, Gallas seems to have fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane and is not expected to start against Liverpool.
Predictions:
Norwich 2-1 Southampton
QPR 1-0 Sunderland
Reading 2-2 Aston Villa
West Brom 0-0 Swansea
Newcastle 2-1 Stoke
Liverpool 1-1 Tottenham
