WE’VE REACHED THE final day of the season and, with a string of changes taking place throughout the league, it is the end of an era for a number of clubs.
All the talk last weekend was about Alex Ferguson’s departure but Roberto Mancini, Rafael Benitez and David Moyes are also leaving their respective clubs, while Paul Scholes and Liverpool stalwart Jamie Carragher will hang up their boots after this weekend.
The champions have been crowned and we know that QPR, Reading and FA Cup winners Wigan face relegaation to the Championship next season so, there’s doesn’t look to be a whole lot at stake.
However, the race for Champions League football has gone down to the wire with three London clubs battling it.

New Europa League champions Chelsea are in the driving seat on 72 points with Arsenal two points back and Tottenham one further back.
With so much to play for, it would be advisable to include players from this trio for the Gameweek 38.
Two players to pick this week
Emmanuel Adebayor (Spurs): He may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but the Togolese striker has come alive in the past two weeks with big goals against Chelsea and Stoke. With Tottenham needing to win if they are to have any chance of qualifying for Europe’s elite competition, they will be depend on Adebayor continuing his purple patch.
Frank Lampard (Chelsea): Two goals in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa saw Lampard break Chelsea’s all-time scoring record. He has since secured a contract extension at the club and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him pop up with a couple more at the Bridge.
Two players to avoid this week
David de Gea (Manchester United): The Spaniard has been in impressive form for the Premier League champions but won’t start against West Brom as Alex Ferguson has promised to play Anders Lindegaard.
Jose Bosingwa (QPR): QPR have been poison at times and Jose Bosingwa is right up as their worst performer. The former Chelsea full-back was dire against Newcastle, prompting Harry Redknapp to whip him off at half-time, and he may not feature at all in the match-day squad at Anfield.
Predictions:
Chelsea 2 – 1 Everton
Liverpool 4 – 0 QPR
Man City 2 – 2 Norwich
Newcastle 0-3 Arsenal
Southampton 2 – 0 Stoke
Swansea 1 – 1 Fulham
Spurs 2 – 0 Sunderland
West Brom 2 – 3 Man United
West Ham 1 – 2 Reading
Wigan 1 – 1 Aston Villa
