Falcao confirms 'dream' Real Madrid move, then deletes tweet

Because they need more top players at the Bernabeu.

MONACO STRIKER Radamel Falcao confirmed that he is joining Real Madrid via Twitter, potentially ending speculation about his future.

The Colombian triggered suggestions he was imminetly leaving Stade Louis II when he was inexplicably left out of Leonardo Jardim’s matchday squad for their 1-1 draw with Lille on Saturday.

Reports were rife about where the ex-Atletico Madrid man might be departing Ligue 1 for, with Manchester City, Juventus, Arsenal and Real Madrid all named as contenders in the chase for the 28-year-old.

But Falcao looks like he has ended speculation over his future by seemingly declaring his loyalties to Carlo Ancelotti’s men – although he hastily deleted the tweet, many eagle-eyed Twitter users spotted the confirmation.

Monaco are yet to comment about whether Falcao is leaving the club after just a single full season with the club, while Real Madrid have similarly kept quiet on the rumours regarding the forward.
