VIDEO: Watch Falcao's brilliant headed goal on Colombia return

The striker, on loan at Manchester United, was making his first start for his country in nearly a year as he helped them to beat El Salvador 3-0 in a New York friendly.

MANCHESTER UNITED STAR Radamel Falcao enjoyed a profitable return to international football with Colombia on Friday.

Having not started for his nation since suffering a cruciate ligament injury while representing Monaco in January, the centre forward was deployed alongside Carlos Bacca against El Salvador in New York.

Falcao had just netted his first goal since joining the Red Devils on loan and followed it up with a powerful header in the friendly.

The 28-year-old met an inch-perfect cross by Santiago Arias to nod past goalkeeper Henry Hernandez.

Falcao could be back in action for Colombia on Wednesday when they take on Canada at the same stadium.
