SEAMUS COLEMAN’S IRELAND form has seen him shortlisted for the 3/FAI Senior International Player of the Year award.
The Everton defender, who has earned rave reviews for both club and country, is nominated alongside goalkeeper David Forde and captain Robbie Keane for the main prize at next month’s ceremony.
Coleman’s Toffees team-mate James McCarthy joins Ciaran Clark and James McClean on the shortlist for Young International Player of the Year.
The three nominees for International Goal of the Year are Wes Hoolahan (versus Poland)
St Pats duo Killian Brennan and Ger O’Brien, and Dundalk midfielder Richie Towell, are nominated for the SSE Airtricity League Player of the Year Award.
The winners will be announced on 2 March at RTÉ Studios with the event broadcast live on RTÉ Two and RTÉ.ie.
