CESC FABREGAS COULD be on his way to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Reports from the British press have indicated Jose Mourinho has identified the Barcelona midfielder as the perfect replacement for Frank Lampard and is prepared to fork out £30m to bring him back to the Premier League.

Lampard announced on Monday evening that he would be leaving the London club, which had become ‘a huge part of my life’ over the past 13 years. With the 35-year-old mulling up a move to the MLS, Chelsea need a long-term successor and have allegedly made Fabregas their prime target.
Barcelona are contractually obliged to match any offer they receive for the Spanish star but the Gunners are not keen on a reunion. Since moving back to Barcelona, a club he spent six years with as a youth, Fabregas has scored 28 goals, from midfield, in 96 games.
Tata Martino favoured Fabregas for many big games in La Liga last season, with Xavi often starting games on the bench. This did not endear the 27-year-old to the Barca faithful and he was whistled by sections of the home crowd in the Nou Camp near the tail-end of last season.
Fabregas was said to be David Moyes’ main transfer target last summer but he opted to remain under Martino and win a regular starting spot.
