The42's Winning Post: Everything you need to enjoy Day Four of Punchestown

We’re all set for another big day of horse racing.

Three talking points…

Can Slowmotion and Joseph O’Brien prevail?

Slowmotion (4/1) is in strong contention going into the Mares Handicap Chase (Grade B) at 16.55, having won three of her last five races. She faces strong competition, however, with Definite Ruby (7/1), Girly Girl (11/1)Retour En France (6/1) and Elusive Ivy (7/1) all in with a decent shout.

Who will triumph in the Champion Hunters Chase?

On the Fringe (2/1) is unsurprisingly considered the favourite by many, having won the Champion Hunters Chase three years on the trot, but Balnaslow (10/3), Monsieur Gibraltar (13/2) or Home Farm (14/1) could well buck that trend.

Could there be a surprise in the Champion Hurdle?

Labaik (16/1) is some tipsters’ outside bet in this one, having gained a reputation for being somewhat unpredictable in recent times. Petit Mouchoir (10/3)Vroum Vroum Mag (4/1) and Arctic Fire (5/1) are among the safer bets for the 17.30 event.

NAP of the day…

Beyond the Law (4/1) is strongly fancied by a number of experts in the Gva Donal O’buachalla Property Advisors Flat Race.

An each-way fancy…

Ruby Walsh hasn’t had the best of times so far, but that could change with Riven Light (9/4) in the  Donohue Marquees Novice Hurdle.

Accumulator…

Hasty Times (8/1) in the KFM Hunters Chase, Vroum Vroum Mag (4/1) in the Champion Hurdle and Balnaslow (10/3) in the Champion Hunters Chase could make you a very rich man/woman.
