WITH THE SAD news this morning that Eusebio has died we thought it would be nice to remind you that, as well as being an exceptionally gifted footballer, he never took himself too seriously, as this appearance on Skinner and Baddiel’s Fantasy World Cup Live from 1998 shows.

The Portuguese star appeared in the Phoenix from the Flames segment to recreate his f0ur-goal performance against North Korea in the 1966 World Cup — where he scored nine in total — and critically assess whether or not Jeff Astle really was better than Pele.
