Someone tell Eric Abidal he has got his ex-Man United strikers mixed up

Andy Cole won’t be too pleased with this.

FORMER BARCELONA DEFENDER Eric Abidal is on TV duty at tonight’s Champions League semi-final in Turin.

The Frenchman, working for Qatari-owned beIN Sports, joined Spaniards Michel Salgado and Luis Garcia, as well as Andy Cole for Juventus v Real Madrid.

Unfortunately, he seems to be a little confused about which former Manchester United striker is in his company…

Just so you know, Eric: That’s Dwight Yorke on the left and the other guy is Cole.

Not really. A year or two ago this would be a massive blow but he has missed alot of this season and whenever he has played he has looked a shadow of his former self. The Rebels have actually played much better without him!

Jessie Mogg at the Brumbies and Israel Folau of the Waratahs have really stood up and are right in contention for the fullback spot. With them in such red hot form (Izzy especially) i doubt even a fit and available Beale would make the squad let alone the starting 15.
