ENABLE COMPLETED THE Oaks double in sensational style, following up her record-breaking Epsom win with a five-and-a-half length win at The Curragh on Saturday afternoon.
Sent off the 2/5 favourite, John Gosden’s three-year-old never put a foot wrong in the hands of Frankie Dettori, becoming just the fifth filly to complete the Irish/English double in the last 20 years.

After Bengala set a strong pace for the first two-thirds of the race, Dettori produced Enable to take up the running and cruise to her latest Group 1 success.
Aidan O’Brien’s Rain Goddess was second, with Dermot Weld’s Eziyra rounding out the places.
Speaking to RTÉ afterwards, Gosden refused to rule out the possibility that Enable will take on the colts later this summer in a bid to prove that she is the outstanding three-year-old, male or female.
“We didn’t run her in the Irish Derby, I might have found out,” he said.
“We’ll see, maybe she’ll take the colts on at some stage, absolutely. She’s in the King George in two weeks’ time, we’ll see what we think.”
