DONEGAL AND LIMERICK are the first two counties to get the live television treatment as eir Sport begin their coverage of the AIB club football and hurling championships.
eir will broadcast two Donegal SFC quarter-finals on Sunday 10 September (at 2pm and 4pm), along with two Limerick SHC quarter-finals on Saturday 16 September (at 5pm and 7.45pm).
The teams involved will be confirmed following the results of the coming weekend.
“We are really excited to begin broadcasting from the AIB club championships and would like to thank the Donegal and Limerick County Boards for their support in making it happen,” said Glen Killane MD of eir TV & Sport.

“It will be great to get up and running and further fixtures will be announced in the coming weeks.”
The broadcaster announced back in May they’ll be showing 30 live club games in 2017 alone.
