KENNY EGAN MADE winning start to his stay in Florida overnight as he beat Anthony Dorian of the USA at the American Airlines Arena.
Egan’s new team the Miami Gallos came from behind to beat the Los Angeles Matadors 3-2 in the Americas group in the World Series of Boxing (WSB), according to RTÉ.
The Matadors took a 2-0 lead through wins for Fernando Martinez and Eric Fowler over Meza Ochoa and Adrian Martinez Medina respectively.
But after William Williams kick-started the comeback, the Dubliner followed it up with his win and Trent Rawlins then sealed a 3-2 victory for the hosts.

Egan’s was an impressive unanimous points decision over 2008 USA Golden Gloves champion Dorian.
Miami now go joint top of the group table with the Mexico City Guerreros.
