Leicester City to host Chelsea in the third round as big guns enter the League Cup

Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal will both be on the road against lower-league opposition.

ENGLISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE Cup holders Manchester City will begin their defence of the trophy away to Swansea City in the third round.

The draw was made this evening, but the stand-out tie will be a meeting of Premier League champions Leicester City and Chelsea at the King Power Stadium.

Accrington Stanley’s reward for eliminating Burnley tonight is a trip to West Ham, while Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal will all be on the road to lower-league opposition in the shape of Northampton Town, Derby County and Nottingham Forest respectively.
