Easter Sunday slot for Munster and Ulster's Heineken Cup quarter-final

Leinster to face Cardiff on Saturday, 7 April, as details of tournament quarter-finals released by European officials.

EUROPEAN RUGBY BOSSES have confirmed that Munster and Ulster will face off in their Heineken Cup quarter-final on Easter Sunday, 8 April.

And it will be an early start for those travelling to Limerick from north and south, with the game slated to kick off  at 1.45pm.

“It is unlikely tickets will go on public sale for this match. Tickets will be issued according to contractual commitments whereby Munster Rugby will distribute all tickets through the Munster Rugby Clubs and the Munster Rugby Supporters Club,” the home province said in a statement.

Defending champions, Leinster will welcome Cardiff Blues to the Aviva Stadium the day before. They face off at Lansdowne Road  on 7 April, at 5.45pm kick-off.

“Leinster season ticket holders have been contacted by e-mail regarding the purchase of tickets and will have access to buy them from 2pm on Wednesday, 25 January,” a statement from the province reads.”
