Victory for the Miami Heat keeps them on track to surpass the 71/72 LA Lakers winning streak

THE MIAMI HEAT defeated the Toronto Raptors 108-91 last night to extend their winning streak to 22 games.

LeBron James ran the show on St Patrick’s Day as he scored 22 points, claimed 12 rebounds and chipped in with eight assists.

The Heat are now joint-second in the all-time winning streak list but are still 11 triumphs short of the 33 mark set by the L.A Lakers in the 1971/72 season.

Highlight of the night, however, came from Dwyane Wade [24 points] as he deposited a lovely jam following a 3/4 court alley oop pass:
