The date of the potential League of Ireland title decider has been confirmed

Dundalk will face Cork City on Tuesday 11 October.

THE RESCHEDULED PREMIER Division showdown between the League of Ireland’s top two clubs, Dundalk and Cork City, has been confirmed for next month.

Stephen Kenny’s Lilywhites will take on the Leesiders in Oriel Park on Tuesday 11 October with kick-off at 7.05pm, to be broadcast live on RTÉ2.

Dundalk currently sit five points clear of John Caulfield’s side, but have played one additional game.

As it stands, the back-to-back champions are facing the prospect of eight games in the next five weeks, spanning three different competitions – including the FAI Cup and Europa League.
