One change for Dublin as they gear up for clash with free-scoring Tipp

Niall Corcoran comes into the Dubs defence for Sunday’s All-Ireland quarter final.

DUBLIN HURLING BOSS Anthony Daly has made the sole change to his team ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland quarter-final clash with Tipperary in Thurles.

Experienced Kilmacud Crokes defender Niall Corcoran comes in at right-corner back ahead of Paul Schutte in the only defensive alteration. Midfield, which features captain Johnny McCaffrey, and attack remain untouched from the team that lost the Leinster final by 12 points to a rampant Kilkenny.

Tipperary named their starting 15 on Thursday and stuck with the same side that swept Offaly aside in their qualifiers encounter.

Throw-in for Sunday’s match is 4pm at Semple Stadium.

DUBLIN

2. Shane Durkin

Worried about Dublin’s fullback line up against Corbett, Callinan and McGrath. Good move by Daly putting Keaney at 14 on Padraic Maher. Maher is vulnerable at the edge of the square, and Keaney will provide the goal threat they have been missing

Only place for keaney is centre forward. He’s wasted at 14.

Dub did not try a yard against Kilkenny in Len final. Daly said after loosing to Cork last yr that 5 week break beat them it won’t happen next yr. Daly only had the Dubs half cooked last day and I do think the winners of Sunday match will have a major say in who wins this yrs all ireland

Sorry Sean but you just can’t turn it on and off when you feel like it . It don’t work that way. Can’t see Dublin take out Tipp this weekend either

Fair enough but too many mind games now a days. Hurling a simple game but many a manager making it complicated.

Without naming names a few players lucky to stay in the team from the last game. Hopefully a highly improved performance to reward the faith shown in them by the management team.
