No surprise as Cluxton returns for Dublin ahead of Cork semi-final

Stephen Cluxton returns in goal for the defending champions.

DUBLIN HAVE MADE a number changes to the starting XV who so dramatically beat Tyrone last weekend as they get set to take on Cork in the Allianz Football League semi-finals in Croke Park on Sunday.

Stephen Cluxton returns in goal after his suspension while Darren Daly — who dropped out of the team just before throw-in last week — is once again replaced by Philly McMahon in the full-back line.

The half-back line now consists of James McCarthy, Cian O’Sullivan and Kevin Nolan while the midfield pairing of Michael Dara Macauley and Tomas Brady is retained by Jim Gavin and his selectors.

Ballymun Kickhams’ Jason Whelan will start in the half-forwards alongside Alan Brogan and Diarmuid Connolly with Paddy Andrews named at corner-forward.

Throw in on Sunday is at 4pm.
