Stephen Cluxton returns in goal ahead of Michael Savage while there are two changes in the half-back line.
Michael Fitzsimons and John Small both appeared as subs in last Saturday’s come from behind victory over Cork at Croke Park – and they start in place of Cian O’Sullivan and Eric Lowndes.

Shane Carthy, also used as a sub against Cork, get the nod at midfield ahead of Emmet O’Conghaile and in the full-forward line, renowned supersub Kevin McManamon and Dean Rock are named ahead of Paddy Andrews and Bernard Brogan.
