The Marino side retained the Dublin SFC after they survived a late Plunkett’s fightback.

ST VINCENT’S RETAINED the Dublin SFC with a narrow 0-14 to 1-10 win over St Oliver Plunkett’s Eoghan Ruadh in yesterday’s final.

Vincent’s led by 0-14 to 0-9 heading into the final few minutes when Alan Brogan’s late goal brought the game back to life. Younger brother Bernard then reduced the gap to the minimum but the All-Ireland champions dug deep and saw out the win.
