All the highlights as Dublin cruise to the All-Ireland U21 football title

The blues have had far too much in hand for their Connacht rivals so far.

DUBLIN HAVE WON their third All-Ireland U21 football title in five years after beating Connacht champions Roscommon by 1-21 to 3-6 in Tullamore this afternoon.

Ultan Harney has the Rossies only score of the first half – which came in the second minute – but they should really have been much closer at the break after being awarded a penalty in the 13th minute.

However, Donie Smith’s effort was tame and easily saved by Lorcan Molloy.

While Roscommon did find the net three times in the second half, it was too little, too late.
