Dublin* fans urged to hit the Hill on time for Leinster final with Royals

*And Meath supporters too.

GAA OFFICIALS HAVE today urged fans heading to the Leinster SFC final between Dublin and Meath on Sunday to get to Croke Park on time.

Games involving the Dubs have been delayed in the past with the pubs around Jones’ Rd slow to empty ahead of throw-in.

“Supporters attending Sunday’s Leinster Senior Football final meeting of Dublin and Meath are reminded that the senior game has a 2.00pm throw-in,” a statement from GAA HQ states.

“Those attending are advised to purchase tickets before arriving at the stadium to avoid queues on the day of the match. Tickets can be purchased online at gaa.ie, at the Leinster Council’s offices in Portlaoise, from the GAA Ticket Office in Dorset St and from Centra and SuperValu stores.

“Patrons are also urged to arrive in time with the largest attendance of the championship season to date anticipated.”
